From Foundry to Mill for Bloom Agency

In their own words, the team at Bloom Agency are “pretty bloomin’ excited” as they celebrate the company’s first year as a fully integrated agency.

A number of new business wins has led to income growth in the last financial year of fifty per cent to £2.4 million and a doubling in staff numbers, which means that there is much for the forward-thinking agency to celebrate as they move from the beautiful Green Sands Foundry to bigger premises at recently refurbished Marshalls Mill.

Bloom’s CEO Alex Craven Digital sites a decision to change direction as the catalyst for the expansion. Data driven insight remains at the heart of the agency’s model which now is able to look at briefs and brands from an entirely integrated perspective – from insight to planning, brand to design, PR to SEO and PPC, social to print. Alex told us: “This change in direction has driven some significant wins for us as we become the agency of record for well-known brands. As real time, content driven campaigns continue to grow in importance for brands, we believe we are well positioned for growth over the next two years.”

New faces have joined the Bloom ranks including Nathan Lane, Earned Media Director and Dave Wood, Commercial Director who will work with the rest of the team across a host of new business wins including LA Fitness, Infosys, Benenden, Engage Mutual and strategic partnership projects with Showcase Cinemas, Anglian Home Improvements and ADT.

The world’s most popular football site, goal.com, has tasked Bloom with increasing their organic search traffic across 36 language versions of their site. Beginning with a complete on-site technical search audit, the team are now focused on driving significant traffic growth with a series of global PR and insight-led content campaigns, as well as continuing to improve on-site content.

The industry has been quick to spot the team’s blossoming talents with a magnificent three DADI award nominations this year. Whether Bloom cleans up on the night, we’ve yet to find out but their successful formula has already won the backing of clients old and new.
